Voxhora

Your voice away from the office.
Informed conversations and billing at your fingertips.

Client management and billing built specifically for Travis County criminal-defense attorneys — including CAPDS panel counsel. Notes, documents, to-dos, and voice billing, all at your fingertips.

Bill from anywhere

You step out of a meeting and the entry is already in. Tap the mic, say "Smith, phone call, point three", and Voxhora writes the line item — voice billing tuned for the way attorneys actually talk on the move.

In court. Between settings. In the car between appointments. At the kitchen table on a Sunday. Any time you're away from the office, you're still capturing every billable minute.

More than billing

Voxhora started as voice billing — and voice billing is still the thing it does best. But a solo criminal-defense practice needs more than a timekeeper. So Voxhora grew into the essentials a solo attorney actually relies on: client management, case notes, document storage, and to-dos with reminders.

Every client's full picture in one place — their billing, their notes, their documents, and what you still owe them — on every device, at your fingertips.

Voice from anywhere

Single-tap voice capture on iPhone and Apple Watch. Drag-drop intake on Mac and iPad. A one-tap billing button sits on every client row, so you never lose a minute to screen-switching.

Conversations at your fingertips

Tap a client and the context is right there — case synopsis, prior calls, recent intake documents, and court calendar (Travis County, Texas). The agent reads the file so you walk into every call already informed.

Notes, documents & to-dos

Capture a case note in seconds, store the client's documents — PCs, intake letters, anything you upload — and track deadlines and to-dos with reminders. All attached to the client, all synced to every device. The everyday essentials a solo practice runs on.

Your data, your iCloud

Everything syncs through your own iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. No Voxhora server stores your client data. No third-party tracking. No analytics. The audit trail lives on your own devices.

Tamper-evident audit chain

Every billable line item is cryptographically linked to the one before it, so any later edit shows. Every agent-driven intake records its source. Every voucher export logs which entries it included. Tamper-evident from day one.

Mac + iPhone + iPad + Watch

One Voxhora account, every Apple device. Bill on the Watch in the hallway, review on the iPhone over lunch, draft on the iPad on the train, export your monthly voucher from the Mac at the office. Same data everywhere.

Court-appointed voucher export, when you need it

For attorneys who handle court-appointed work alongside their hourly practice, Voxhora exports your billable record as a county-format voucher CSV, generated per case and ready to submit.

Short, real-screen demos — no slides, just the app doing the work. (Sample data; every client shown is fictional.)

Your data is safe

Voxhora is built for the ethical obligations attorneys actually carry. Texas Disciplinary Rule 1.05 takes client confidentiality seriously; so do we. Four guarantees, in plain English:

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Every byte of your client data is encrypted on the wire (TLS 1.3) between your device and Apple's iCloud, and encrypted at rest inside Apple's storage. Apple's Advanced Data Protection for iCloud (Settings → iCloud → Advanced Data Protection) raises that to full end-to-end encryption if you turn it on — recommended for any attorney handling sensitive matters.

Built so you don't lose your data

Your data lives on your Mac, your iPhone, your iPad, and your Apple Watch — a full local copy on each device — and is replicated to Apple's iCloud as the master. Drop your iPhone in the lake; your Mac still has every billable entry. Lose every device you own — buy a brand-new Mac or iPhone, install Voxhora, sign into the same Apple ID, and everything repopulates to its last state automatically: every client, note, document, to-do, and billable entry. There is nothing to manually back up and nothing to restore by hand.

Always retrievable, in formats you control

Voxhora's voucher CSV export lets you pull your billable record out at any time to any folder, drive, or cloud you choose. Per-client documents (PCs, intake letters, anything you've uploaded) live in your own iCloud Drive — visible in Finder, the Files app, drag-and-droppable anywhere. Your data is never trapped in a Voxhora-only format.

No Voxhora server. No Voxhora staff with access.

There is no Voxhora central database for a hacker to breach because there is no central database. No "support engineer" at Voxhora can read your client list. No third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, no data sharing. Apple is your storage provider; Voxhora is just the software you run on your own devices.

Tamper-evident audit chain

Every billable line item, every agent-driven intake, every voucher export is hash-chained to the prior one. The chain itself is tamper-evident — if a row gets altered after the fact, the chain breaks visibly. Tamper-evident audit semantics, available to you at any time.

Your Apple ID is the only gate

You own the keys, literally. Your iCloud account password (plus two-factor authentication on the trusted devices you've set up with Apple) is the only thing standing between your client data and the world. Voxhora doesn't have a "reset your password" link because Voxhora doesn't have your password — Apple does.

Built for Travis County defense — not generic

Most client-management and billing software is generic: built for corporate or transactional firms, then bent awkwardly to fit a criminal-defense practice. Voxhora is the opposite. It was made specifically for Travis County criminal-defense attorneys — including CAPDS panel attorneys — so the billing categories, the cause-number formats, the court calendar, and the appointment intake all already speak your jurisdiction's language. And every voucher Voxhora generates is built to the CAPDS AMP portal's format — so it submits without reformatting or re-keying.
